Overviews of Chelsea F.C. 2022 summer transferring windows

Chelsea FC and head coach Thomas Tuchel have a huge summer transfer window ahead before the 2022 – 2023 English Premier League start. The summer transferring window started after tough seasons at Stamford Bridge stadium where plenty of problems from both on and off the field had happened.

During the last seasons, The Blues reached third place in the 2021 – 2022 EPL seasons, which led them to the UEFA Champions League group stages. However, Thomas Tuchel and his team lost the FA cup with two losses on penalties shoot-out against Liverpool. Off the pitch, the club’s former owner Roman Abramovich had to be withdrawn because of the UK government’s sanction for months until Todd Boehly finally completed the purchase.

Tuchel has admitted he needs to “rebuild” his squad this summer, following a difficult season and the loss of some key players:

“We are rebuilding, not improving the squad. We are rebuilding. This is always challenging but we are up for the challenge.”

Lukaku made a disappointment during the last 2021 – 2022 season with only 15 goals after 44 appearances. He even did not believe in Thomas Tuchel’s tactics. He even called Simon Inzaghi for a birthday greeting and announced his willingness of coming back to Inter Milan right before the UEFA Champions League quarter-final match against Real Madrid started.
